The organisations behind the line
The Museum Tramway is supported by three organisations that preserve the collection, manage the heritage railway and bring volunteers and supporters together.
EMA
The Stichting Electrische Museumtramlijn Amsterdam manages the heritage railway and operates both city tours and the Heritage Line.
RETM
The Rijdend Electrisch Tram Museum association brings together volunteers, members, friends, donors and other benefactors.
SBCAVM
The Stichting Beheer Collectie Amsterdam Vervoer Museum owns and manages the collection of historical trams and related heritage.
Cultural non-profit status
EMA, RETM and SBCAVM are recognised as Cultural non-profit organisations (ANBI). Donations and gifts to these organisations may count toward tax deductibles in the Netherlands.
