Come work on moving heritage
Conductors, drivers, technicians, track crew, shop, catering and organisation: the Museum Tramway runs thanks to volunteers. And for enthusiasts, there is more than trams alone: historic buses are now also part of the collection. For those buses we are looking for drivers and people who want to maintain engines.
From technical work to hospitality
Everything visitors experience during a ride starts behind the scenes. Trams and buses are maintained, services are prepared, tickets are sold, visitors are welcomed and the line is kept safe. There is room for young people, working people, retirees, practical helpers and thinkers.
Learning, working together and preserving something tangible
Guidance
You join experienced volunteers and learn how things work step by step.
Variety
No two days are the same: a running day, maintenance day or event each asks for something different.
Heritage with visible results
You immediately see what you are doing it for: vehicles that are preserved and visitors who can experience the story.
