International Motorcars

EDHMP 352

This Prague tram from 1915, nicknamed “The Beast”, was presented to Amsterdam in 1986 as a gift to strengthen the cities’ partnership. It was subsequently placed in the care of our museum. Built by the Ringhoffer company, the tram offers no fewer than 24 seats.

Works cars

Wiener Stadt Werke 6011

The WstW 6011 is a works tram equipped with a crane, built in 1912 by Simmering AG. It was brought to the Museum Tramway in 1985 by the Saan company, well‑known for its lifting and tower‑crane operations. This tram can regularly be seen during maintenance work on the line, both on weekdays and on Saturdays.

Bonn A41

Built in 1959 by Esslingen for SSB Bonn, this works motor car was brought to Amsterdam in 1989 and continued to be used regularly for track maintenance until 2026. With the arrival of new machinery, the vehicle has become redundant and will be withdrawn from service.

Wiener Stadt Werke 7053

Works wagon, type GM, built in 1916 by Simmering AG in Switzerland. In the museum collection since 1987. It is regularly used for transporting bulk materials such as sleepers, ballast, and green waste.
