Mack heavy recovery crane: Over the past week, extensive work has been done to repaint the Mack crane truck in its original GVB livery — the way it looked after it was taken over from the Canadian liberation forces. The crane left GVB service in an orange‑yellow colour scheme and was replaced by Daf NAT 2800 crane trucks. We’re not finished with this beautiful machine yet: for example, a massive garage jack still needs to be mounted on the front, used to lift trams.
